Terms of stay
To ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests, the following Terms of Stay shall apply to all guests residing at Penview Hotel

Cancellations received by Penview Hotel less than 72 hours prior to arrival and non-arrivals (no shows) may incur a cancellation fee of one night accommodation unless otherwise specified at the time of booking. |
Cancellation policy
1. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
- Check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards.
- Check-out time is by 12:00 Noon.
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to room availability and may incur additional charges.
- Guests are required to present a valid government-issued identification card or passport upon check-in.
2. PAYMENT
- Full payment or a valid guarantee may be required upon check-in.
- The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize or charge the guest's credit card for accommodation and incidental expenses.
- All rates are subject to prevailing government taxes and service charges.
3. GOVERNMENT TAXES & FEES
- Tourism Tax, SST, and any other applicable government taxes or levies shall be charged in accordance with Malaysian regulations.
- Government rates are subject to verification and presentation of supporting documents where applicable.
4. OCCUPANCY
- Room occupancy must not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the room category booked.
- Additional guests may be subject to extra person charges.
5. VISITORS
- Visitors are required to register at the Front Desk if requested.
- The hotel reserves the right to limit visitor access for security and safety reasons.
- Overnight stays by unregistered visitors are not permitted without prior approval from the hotel.
6. NON-SMOKING POLICY
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guestrooms and indoor public areas unless otherwise designated.
- A cleaning and recovery fee may be imposed for smoking violations.
7. GUEST CONDUCT
- Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner.
- Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, illegal activities, or actions causing discomfort to other guests may result in immediate eviction without refund.
- The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or accommodation to any person whose conduct is deemed inappropriate.
8. DAMAGE TO HOTEL PROPERTY
- Guests shall be responsible for any loss, damage, or excessive cleaning required due to negligence, misuse, or intentional acts.
- The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for repair, replacement, or cleaning costs.
9. VALUABLES & PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- Guests are encouraged to utilize the in-room safety deposit box for valuables.
- The hotel shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless otherwise required by law.
10. SAFETY & SECURITY
- Guests must comply with all fire, health, and safety regulations.
- Tampering with fire detection systems, emergency equipment, or safety devices is strictly prohibited and may result in penalties.
11. PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following are strictly prohibited within the hotel premises:
- Illegal drugs and narcotics.
- Dangerous or hazardous materials.
- Firearms, explosives, or weapons unless authorized by law.
- Any items that may endanger the safety of guests, employees, or property.
12. PET POLICY
- Pets are not permitted within the hotel unless specifically approved by management or required as certified service animals.
13. LOST & FOUND
- Lost items found within the hotel will be retained according to the hotel's Lost & Found procedures.
- The hotel is not responsible for unclaimed items after the retention period.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
- The hotel shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances.
15. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
- Penview Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation, service, or access to any individual whose conduct violates these Terms of Stay or may negatively affect the safety, comfort, or well-being of other guests and employees.
16. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
- By checking in and occupying a guestroom, guests acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms of Stay.
